Each show is recorded for an hour-long monthly Podcast to offer greater access beyond the physical borders of New Orleans via the web and other platforms. More to come on podcast. José Torres-Tama is an inter-disciplinary troublemaker & NEA-award-winning performance artist. He opens each show with a comedic 7-minute monologue & poetic excerpts from his many solo shows on the Latin immigrant experience. He comments on the political nature of the present moment, as we negotiate an overdue racial reckoning in the nation & the pandemic twists and turns in the New Orleans landscape.
Each Show Features a Different Latin Musical Act Making Their Mark in New Orleans.
Also, TSF highlights & amplifies artists and cultural bearers from the Black community for performances and interviews on the pressing issues facing both BLACK and BROWN people in the city of New Orleans.
